It looks like the K&M "cork" stand isn't actually real cork, just looks like cork. It's a "non-marring plastic material" with a cork coating. Whatever that means.

I use this stand with my nitro guitar; not a problem for years

Our guitar stands in the translucent version are suitable for all kinds of guitar lacquers, including nitro lacquer.

For a hanger I use a string swing with protective cloth "condoms". Does look a like a wall hanger from the Liberace collection, but prevents dents and the like from being strung up by the neck.

I use Hercules stands and never had an issue.

Strings Swings for me. Never had a problem with them.

To be honest, though, right now I have relatively light guitars hanging on them.. But the String Swing wall hangers seem to be very sturdy. I wouldn't hesitate to put heavier guitars on these. I mounted them into the wall studs just to be safe.

I respect a player who knows to keep a guitar every 5 feet throughout the house. You never know when inspiration will strike and you'll need to grab a guitar!
