I'm not going to get into a huge rant about how much this band means to me but I feel that Trent Reznor is one of the last remaining visionaries my generation has. His career has spanned decades and his sound has been reinvented dozens of times while continuing to create music by his own terms. While people today over use auto tune and other electronic convieniences to replace talent, I have always felt that Trent used electronic instruments not as a crutch, but to create new sounds and moods while also having a very raw, human voice atop it all.

Here is the new single from their upcoming album!

I am also a huge NIN fan.

Just turned 33...here's a charcoal drawing I did at 15. Scored first place in a college art show. Picture is old and poor quality but you get the idea.

Sick drawing jfb! Are you still at it? Love NIN! I wore my Downward Spiral T-shirt for grade nine photos back in '97. Maybe I'll try and dig it out and post it up for a laugh.

I still do some stuff.

Can't wait to hear the rest of this NIN release.

Thanks for sharing this, Mikey! I too am a huge NIN fan from back in the day, and he kinda lost me for awhile. It's good to hear something like this that indicates he's going back to the roots. Cool stuff!

WOW - this is a totally random occurence but I just noticed that 4 years ago TO THE DAY (6-7-09) I got to spend one of the best days of my life closely with Nine Inch Nails. I'll never forget it - but luckily I snapped a few photos!

Still playing the crap out of 'How to Destroy Angels'.

'Pretty Hate Machine' is a top 25 all-time favorite.

there are few constant things in life but Trent Reznor putting out amazing deep fresh music is one of them, the multimedia, visuals, artwork etc I enjoy too. Its so rare now that music even compares to the package/image/hype of it.
