Wife went to Iowa game with friends today and she has a bunch of games she wants to watch over the weekend. So I'm outta here.

I load up my trusty ultra classic and head south but ended up in KC.

While here I look at FBMP for this area and DANG..... a white Vela for sale cheap. I reached out and talked him down a bit, ATM visit and BOOOM .....I own it.

Now I am lame and never post pics so let the games begin.......I can handle it......the only thing I'm not sure of........how do I strap this to my motorcycle???????

It is a beautiful morning and my ride home will be therapeutic.

I ride with a drivers backrest and that is a game changer for us older fellas. Had to strap Vela on top of tour pack and it seems to be doing ok there.

Got 50 miles east of KC and had to stop for a bit. Sun coming up is going to give me a splitting headache so I'm at a Waffle House eating.

I'm forced to listen to Conway Twitty.......ugh.

Play the guitar before you change the bridge pickup. I have a friend who became a PRS convert after gain on a Vela that he bought. Now he tends to ride the bridge. My S2 Studio (same bridge pickup) had the best humbucker sound with gain that I have.
