My third DC3:

The single best thing you could ever do to improve your guitar pile is to engage positively with the fine folks at The Official PRS Forum. All my dreams have, and continue to come true because of my years spent here.

I was all set to swap pups and spray paint that powder blue DC3 I had until my buddy Paul @dogrocketp hooked me up with some guy off Baltimore CL.

Dude flew out here on a business trip and brought his DC3 , we met up and gave him my dumb blue one with a rosewood board for this red one with a maple board (what I really wanted again. I miss my previous DC3 with a maple board).

These are stoopid good quality guitars for cheap, even though I find the electronics a bit uninspiring. I may mod this one.
I've never played a guitar with a straight single coil bridge pickup. Do you find there's much a sound difference without the slanted position, as compared to a Fender Strat, PRS Silver Sky, or PRS 305?

Yeah, the treble strings aren’t as shrill on the bridge pickup.
