Knows the Drill
If you’ve ever tried to orchestrate anything amongst random musicians, you know that a tale like this doesn’t normally happen… the power of the forum brotherhood at work.
I was losing sleep on a nightly basis at the thought of a blue guitar being defiled, I simply had no choice. And I have a blue one already.@dogrocketp saved the blue.
You had a powder blue dc3. WhereTF have I been????My third DC3:
The single best thing you could ever do to improve your guitar pile is to engage positively with the fine folks at The Official PRS Forum. All my dreams have, and continue to come true because of my years spent here.
I was all set to swap pups and spray paint that powder blue DC3 I had until my buddy Paul @dogrocketp hooked me up with some guy off Baltimore CL.
Dude flew out here on a business trip and brought his DC3 , we met up and gave him my dumb blue one with a rosewood board for this red one with a maple board (what I really wanted again. I miss my previous DC3 with a maple board).
These are stoopid good quality guitars for cheap, even though I find the electronics a bit uninspiring. I may mod this one.
I don’t even know, bruv!You had a powder blue dc3. WhereTF have I been????
I’m picturing a powder blue tux from 70’s. With one of those dope ruffle white shirts. Tell me the pick guard was white…I don’t even know, bruv!
It wasn’t as dope as this though
It was!I’m picturing a powder blue tux from 70’s. With one of those dope ruffle white shirts. Tell me the pick guard was white…
Days like that don’t come very often, I really try to appreciate the moment.congrats on getting rid of am awesome-colored guitar to get one with uninspiring piclups? i meam, sure, you got a maple board out of the deal
Well, obviously you just need to buy *another* guitar for those pups - problem solved!I bought a set of pickups to put in the DC3 I traded away for this one, and now I’m not hating the pickups in the new one… go figure!
A maple board would’ve been sick on that one.
