Not a PRS but I do have a new one and amp incoming this week so it is not all bad. I got in today a new EVH red/white/black stripes guitar that is absolutely badass! I have been a VH nut since forever and this fills a GAS bubble that has been brewing since 1980 or so. Didn't hurt that I got a 150 off deal through GC.

pics to follow as I just got home but had to shout out about it. Initial reaction is fit and finish is surprisingly good, can't wait to plug er in!

Since it did not come with a case or gig bag somehow I dont mind it being my leave it on the hook beater. I seem to play more when I dont have to pull one out of the case and I cant get myself to hang a 'good' one on the wall. So much fun to make stupid noises with the Floyd too. Keeper, although I may have to swap out the pup for a hotter one.

Nice addition. I've come close to buying one. Simple rock and roll machine.

Very cool - I'm jonesing for the black and yellow one. That will have to wait until after Experience.

Wedge!!! I am sooo close to pulling the trigger on one of these. Can you give me any reasons not to?????

Not really.....I love my PRS's but this thing is fun! Plus for some of the old school stuff it feels right to play it on a full 25.5 scale length guitar. Besides if you grab one and don't like it it would move in a minute.

There's one of these hanging in my local guitar store. I keep looking at it... Big money though. Around $2,500 (NZ). I think that's about $40 US...

I nearly bid on a Peavey EVH last week. Got to keep off those auction websites. Got a Goldtop Les Paul Deluxe landing next week. It only takes a beer and a mouse.

I always wonderd about guys overseas or living one exotic places....can't you just order from the US and pay shipping, has to be cheaper than buying local?

I can't believe how cheap stuff is in the US comapred to here. Be it Harley parts or guitar stuff. That said, we pay shipping and duty and a fixed tax on both (a tax on a tax in effect) so you don't always win. I order Harley parts direct from the US as I resent the huge mark-up of the local dealer. Books I get from bookdepository.co.uk as even after being shipped half way around the world they still reach me at half the local prices (and I include local online prices in that - the physical stores are even more expensive). Govt. here is going flat-out to try to tax all online sales as they now want their cut.

Want to shift to Australia within two years. Food prices and tax here (feel like a one-man welfare system) are *****ing me off.
