First of those I’ve seen, so I’m pretty darn impressed!

Rick, Thanks.
These were a run of 100 in 2009 to showcase the 5909 pickups.
Based on a doublecut McCarty, they had private stock quilted tops, east indian rosewood necks and fretboards, 5909 pickups with a push/pull tone knob and a satin nitro finish.
A couple colors available, Black Gold, Black Slate, Faded Blue Jean and red tiger (which I have never seen a red tiger one).

IIRC, there was a limited edition run 2008 1957/2008 run of 100 and also another limited run in 2010 of the 53/10's

I'm sure some of the other members can fill in more of the details.

OK, Sorry for the delay, had to report back into the office today after 16 months of telecommuting. Took forever for today to go by so I could get home and open the box....
I was looking for a 594 and nothing has ticked all the boxes for me and saw this pop up and had to have it....
Super stoked to get my hands on one of these!

1959/2009 Experience Limited Edition in Black gold.

Congrats! The 59/09 limiteds were a great, great run!

Upon further investigation (and drooling)... this thing is essentially like a "Paul's 100" guitar but with a 25" scale rosewood neck! Killer. (Fixed vs. adjustable stoptail bridge being the only other [insignificant] difference.)

Edit: Oh, sorry... and the obvious birds vs. dirty moon inlays. But still, should probably be regarded as a close surrogate to the Dirty 100.

I agree. As you said, I think a couple other minor differences. Cocobolo headstock veneer and ebony buttons. Also paisley case.
Wouldn't mind finding a dirty 100 available sometime.
