Was looking for a new guitar, really like the S2 Custom 24, but didn't want to drop the cash on it right now. Long story short, was on Chicago Music Exchange a few nights ago, and saw a 2019 S2 CU24 in Whale Blue for almost $1,000 cheaper than the usual sale price. Sent them a note asking what the deal was, especially because they had another 2019 in Whale Blue for regular price. Anyway, in an effort to not lose out on the sale, I bought the guitar, a 3am, and figured if something was up with the listing or the guitar, I'd just cancel it. On Monday, the guitar shipped, so I sent them another note, because I didn't want to have to ship back a guitar I didn't want, if it wasn't that model, or something was wrong with the guitar. They got back to me saying it was a system error, the guitar was accidentally listed at that price, and since it already shipped, they'd honor it. Score! Happy new gear day to me!

Congrats on a killer deal on a great looking guitar.

Always good when you get both in the score.

Played it all day yesterday. Love it. CME said they did a setup, but it definitely needs one. Reached out today and they said with the cold, in shipping, could definitely knock it out. Bringing it to my luthier this afternoon.

The gig bag it came with is pretty nice as well. Would like something with a bit more storage, but this is one of the nicer gig bags I've seen included with a guitar. I guess there's some beef to be had that other manufacturers would probably include a hard shell with a guitar like this, but I actually prefer the bag.

Nice guitar. Enjoy it.
You got a really good deal there!

The PRS gig bags are well made.
Both of my S2 Miras have them.

I definitely think the bag is great, I was just hoping for a bit more storage in the front pocket. Looking at some of these Reunion Blues cases. I will say that I like the hanger that is in the back of the PRS case. If I fly for work and want to bring the guitar, I can hang it in the coat closet on the plane.

I love the regular gig bag. I had a Mayer with the "better" bag, and there were things about it I did not like.

I would be careful with putting things in the front pocket of the bag - if the bag gets bumped or squeezed it can dent the gtr.

I love CME as well. Im in Naperville - you?
