Both good guitars. The LP was an '83 with Tim Shaw pups and sounded good. Very thin neck and low frets. It had a couple of frets that buzzed and hard to bend strings with the "fretless wonder" neck. The Ted has a neck like my Stripped 58 which makes it a lot easier to transition between the two. Sounds fantastic with the 57/08's and sustains forever. Low action and very solid. Came with 10's on it but I am going to change them out for 9's. I think this one is my "go to" guitar.
