Great score!! Dig it.

I thought I recognized that top as the one JD had. Awesome top, and beautiful finish.

That actually is one of the very best configurations of a Ted that you possibly could have scored, in my opinion. First, I think the 5815's sound better than the early 5708's. The early 5708's in the Ted's IMO had a lot of variability as to spec/output, and tone. The 5815's are pretty consistently awesome.

Second, that has the Ivoroid Binding. The original Ted's had a White Plastic binding painted Yellow/Cream. I like that binding a LOT better.

That beauty showed up at JD's just after I psychologically made the shift from DC 245's to 594's, otherwise I would have bought that in a heartbeat. ;)

Congrats!!

Add nitro coat to that list! She slipped through the cracks. Got the official tech specs from PRS customer service ;)

Killer top! How is that not Artist Grade?
Santana headstock suits it well.

Elliott,
What an organic and natural looking figure to that top! It looks so good!
I am not a fan of straight as an arrow flame tops. they just have no personality, like yours does.
A superb find.
Congratulations. Enjoy it muchly!

The flame in the top is somewhat subtle when there is no light on it. It's extremely unique, which I love. Also, the Santana headstock kills!

I'm with you man. The subtle inconsistency comes out a bit more when it's not in direct light. I couldn't quite get that to show in a photo even in a darker room. The flame is a lot less obvious on the left edge (top edge, depending on your orientation) until you get some light on it. And the voodoo veins add another dimension.

Couldn't be happier that this really sweet player is also a hot looker.
