It was a killer deal....I couldn't say no! The guys at the store said it was listed as whale blue, but we all agreed that it wasn't whale blue. It's almost blueish denim purple, if that makes sense. Pictures don't do it justice. Maple neck with ebony fretboard. Ebony is sliiiiiick.

Evidently, this is a special edition SE where they only brought a couple hundred to the US with the ebony board on it. I want to say it was like 300 or so, but I can't remember.

What was funny, as soon as I got it home, I yanked the strings off to put the Grover tuners on, and as soon as I get them on and strung, I break a high E. Irony is a cruel mistress.
