So this just arrived from JD @ Guitar Maverick (AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME GUY!!!!!)

Here are some pics! So far after playing for a couple of hours through a little Mustang I amp (my main amp is at church right now), the pickups sound fairly clear. The bridge pickup seems really crisp. Both pickups clean up fairly well with the volume knobs. I am sure she would sound MUCH MUCH better through a good amp. I may keep the pickups for a bit unless I snag a set of Starla pickups in the near future.

The feel of the neck is perfect! I love the satin feel on the neck and it is very very comfortable. I love the look of the clear speed knobs. I am usually a lampshade guy, but these look great. The color is outstanding and the character of the flame is very cool. The fretboard looks really nice, the birds are fine.

I am not sold on the tuners yet. We will see. I may replace them with some locking tuners...but I am not going to rush into anything.

Some of the photos are on a bit of an angle to reduce glare from the window.

Congrats! How's the semi hollow tone tone compared to the solid bodies. And please let us know more about how it is through an amp you prefer.

Congrats man, those things look sweet.

Has anyone had a chance to compare the bridge on these with the adjustable bridge from US models? In pictures they look identical, but when I bought one years ago it cost like 300$. I'd be surprised if they put such an expensive part on something that's selling for roughly 700$. Perhaps the price of the bridge itself is inflated.

i don't need another guitar at all, but i'm going to get one of these this year.
