Thanks friends, yes it was the Flame Neck and Brazilian Rosewood Finger board that really drew me to this guitar.

Speaking of Necks... I had started a Thread earlier about Finished vs. Unfinished necks on Floyd Custom 24 as I have been interested in the Flame maple "unpainted/unstained" neck. Meanwhile I spotted this one and had to have it as this Flame neck just looks killer to me The feeling of the neck is different, it is not ultra smooth such as an Oil rub. It is sprayed but not buffed out. It is almost like you can still feel the pours of the wood. I like the feeling, but I have nothing to compare it to as the rest of my PRS guitars all have standard finished necks.

THAT is a KILLER guitar - love the grain on the BRW fretboard. Neck is to die for. Waves on the top are really cool. All that, and Blood Orange too? Winner!

OP, my necks are like that. The Wood Library one is the same as yours. Man, it feels like velvet or silk or something - SO comfortable to play.

Wicked neck. The more I see this color, the more I like it.

When I first saw the guitar my initial reaction was that it was too intense. But as I stared at it and the top grain pattern I found that I really dug the color. This combined with the Maple flame Neck and Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard was combination I just could not pass up.

I think this is not a color for everyone, but several of my friends had the same reaction as the more the study it the more they like it. Maybe Paul has painted some subliminal hypnotic message under the finish. ;-)
