After only owning Fender and Gibsons for many years, I am so excited to finally join the PRS family!
First impressions are just wow. I had seen PRS guitars on the shelves at a local dealer and was struck by how impressive the finishes looked and the immaculate QC. They really just caught my eye. After a ton of research, I settled on the Custom 24 as being the one for me. Yellow Tiger was one of the two colors I was looking for, and I couldn't be happier with the top on this one.
It plays beautifully. Basically perfect, out of the box. Major props to the PRS team for putting together such amazing pieces.
A few specs:
--- swamp ash body, torrified curly maple neck
--- ebony fretboard
--- 58/15 LTs - first impressions are very positive, warmth and clarity is just so impressive
--- I don't usually care too much about weight but having a lighter guitar in my collection was a draw for me. Feels great in the hand!
I haven't had nearly enough time to play it yet but I can't wait to find all the amazing tones I am sure are here.
