I repeat...adulting blows!
Ha, you can post new used car day or not......then show pics of guitar .
I love happy endings!
I'm currently selling my house and I have a couple of repairs to make before closing. The plumber was a CE24. I expect the electrician will be an S2 Standard 24 and the sewer guy will be a used SE Singlecut (fingers crossed because if that goes south it will for sure be a Silver Sky). However, that could always go up and I might be at a Custom 24 all in.
You know, I really don't like your game. Although I'm walking away with a tidy sum, so maybe I'll have to get one of the aforementioned guitars... hmmm...
I don’t know. Before I was an adult, I had one crap guitar that could barely keep two adjacent strings in tune.
Before I was the legal age of an adult (not sure I'm really an "adult" even now), I had only been playing guitar for a couple of years, and I sucked, so I'm OK with being an adult now that I kinda know what I'm doing on the fretboard. Actually, took me until my mid-forties to really get the hang of it.
I just wish I was better at investing, better at figuring out the whole marriage thing (took me three failures before I finally figured it out on the fourth try!), and less attracted to all the various models PRS makes. Why couldn't I be satisfied with just the CU24 I started with?
I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks of purchases as guitars that could have been. Two weeks after buying my house the sewer backed up and water started coming out of the basement floor drain. A used DGT later and I find out roots are grown all through my sewer line. Lucky for me I found a great deal on the perfect DGT and bought it anyways.
Several years ago I had what I thought was a clogged drain. Turned out the sewer line under the driveway was collapsing, all 220 feet of it down there at depths up to 12 feet. $46k (no insurance because the problem was outside the house) to dig through the caliche (nature's cement) and rock and now my drain runs fine ... my tears go right out to the main sewer without a problem.
Do waterheaters come in blue?
Only with boat wake tops!
Back in May, both my car and my wife’s Toyota Sienna died. That’s right two new cars inside 6 weeks. Went from no car payments for 10 years to 2. I could have had a sampler platter of the PSotMs from a couple of years ago.
I forgot the car repair bills this year - at least another PS. Or a used Collection series? My wife’s SUV is nearly 15years old and over 205k miles. Still runs well, fingers crossed!
Sold a 594 and Custom 24 Floyd, both Wood Library in Bonni Pink to fund a car down payment. Yay.....
I have a Roland Micro Cube for when the power is out. Slightly less expensive option.
Houses and cars can both be huge "upkeep" expenses. We got into the cycle of trading the cars before they hit the big ticket repair items for a good while. Then we changed, paid both cars off early and went 4 years with no car payments. Boy, was that nice... but then we had 2 10 year old vehicles. I kept telling the wife that we should have traded one in and then had it paid off before we got another. Now we have two car payments again. Anyway, when I got the Camaro, I kept my old car to A) drive in bad weather and B) keep miles off my Camaro. Less than two months after we made that decision and kept it, it needed transmission flush, radiator flush, tune up, brakes, tires, had some deteriorated brakelines that needed to be replaced, and was leaking oil from the head gasket. $1500 later it better dang well last another 3 years til the Camaro is paid off, or I"m going to be TICKED!
Dude, Gian.... that’s horrible.
Hopefully the car is, at the least, the same color.
Only the ones with winged controls!
