Loved up on it a bit. Action is about where I like it and it came well-intonated. Gonna plug it in shortly to make sure everything is in working order and that it doesn't explode on me. Ordered a fitting truss rod cover for it. It is, unplugged, noticeably brighter than my SE HBII with DR 10's on it. Don't know how much of that is PRS Classic 10's vs DR Tite-Fit 10's and how much is the guitar. Seems to have 10's-46's on it as stated by PRS so I mentioned that Sweetwater could correct their page. Gonna go through the process of trying 9's and 9.5's on it before deciding how I want to eventually keep it strung up.
Kinda reminds me of Halloween colors. Trick or Treat?
The trem bridge on it doesn't have a ton of play to it as set up, which is seeming good to me because I, as a non-trem player for years, bought it wondering if I'd use the trem and whammy at all or end up completely stabilizing the bridge. Reason being that my natural playing tendencies always tended to make me disturb a Fender Strat's tremolo without intent. Like my wrist hand and arm tends to rub up on the system. I so far seem to be able to play and strum on this axe without unintentionally warbling the sound. Either way I'm gonna give the whammy a shot even though I have zero accumulated whammy skills.
