NGD - Tiger Orange McCarty 594

Hi all,

New to the Forums and after posting some pics in the '594 Love Thread', a suggestion was made to start a new NGD thread... Hope you enjoy!!

I've wanted a PRS ever since I saw the movie 'Airheads' in 1994 where one of their demands was a "PRS with Dragon Inlay". Fast forward 25 years and I've finally found my dream guitar...

A 2017 McCarty 594 Orange Tiger Ten-Top... It's too much guitar for my abilities but I end up playing it for hours every time I look at it so here's to my 'practice motivation'.

Really nice looking with the combo of features I prefer, ie stop tail, tune-o-matic bridge, covered humbuckers and pickup switch on the top horn

Thanks for all the 'axe-love' everyone!!

Just want to change the pick-up rings and switch knob to brass/gold to match the rest of it and I'll be able to put my OCD to rest!!

On a side note - what polish seems to be the go-to?? I've been using Harrons Body Butter and it comes up as good as if not a hell of a lot more slippery, than new (but haven't used polish on the neck, or oiled the fretboard as yet).

I don't remember seeing that color 594. So nice looking. Love it. Less is more w polish but PRS has a good one. For anything but nitro. Welcome here!

I dearly love Orange Tiger. I have that on my P22, and it looks stunning on your 594.
