Some of y'all might remember this thead where I recounted the process of visiting the PRS factory in Stevensville to choose the wood for my Private Stock build. It's been over 9 months but it was worth the wait! Here she is: Custom 24 Semi-Hollow with a stoptail, 3-way toggle with push/pull coil split, carved back, "sinker" mahogany wide/thin (NOT pattern thin) neck, ebony fretboard, mother-of-pearl J-birds with paua centers, and 57/08 pickups.

I put this build together with a desire to get classic semi-hollow tones with the playability of my Custom 24, and this baby delivers! I'll put together a tone report tomorrow but for now, here's the pics:

Bangin’! (obviously

Is that purple or gray or blue? I can’t tell but it’s great.

Beauty! Really love NGD posts like these!

Stoptail 24’s are rare. Purple mist stain?

Congrats! That turned out really well - terrific quilt front and back and I like your inlay choice on that ebony board.
