I went to check out some specific guitars, think I would buy none...

But no, they get me every year. The massive discounts...the shows, the workshops.

And here it is...photos sent by my Sweetwater rep...he knew I bought it before I got home, and I didn't even see him lol.

Yeah, I'm not usually a sucker for violet but I really like this one. In real life, the lighter portions seem to actually have a blueish tint to it. It makes for a beautiful top.

As far as I know the 'violet' color is a mixture of purple and light blue (at least 2 colors, if not more).

Congrats on a sweet guitar. My buddy who plays bass with me here near Atlanta is there and posted a picture with Paul. Looks like a cool event.

I live in Ohio so it's only a 2 1/2 hour drive for me, but people come from all over the world. It has so much cool stuff there, I would encourage anyone who can go to do so. I am a bassist, and first went to see my bass hero Billy Sheehan at a seminar but I also met him afterwards, got his autograph and told him my story. This is the second year in a row where we got to talk to Paul. Last year, he needed an effect for the end of day jam and we were at the counter. I introduced myself and them my daughter, who was the first to own a PRS (an SE) in our family. He took time to say hello and have a conversation about our experience with his guitars and gave my daughter some encouraging words. I can't say it enough- great guy.

PRSh was there...standing in line in front of me for the portolet. :D All I walked out with were mics and tired feet. An SM57 for $57 and SM58 for $58 was too good to pass up! Great event, despite the rain...err, monsoon...in the morning
