I'm just a hair partial to the MEV over the SSH in the tone versatility department! It would be very hard to choose, though...
Since the SSH is a retirement gift from the wife, it wouldn't be going anywhere anyway... LoL!!! But I give my slight tone
edge to the MEV!!!

I would have to say that the Brian's Run 509 Swamp Ash is probably my absolute favorite guitar in my possession playing/sound wise.

My PS DGT with 408 p'ups and Paul's signature controls is still #1, though. It's a ghost of a Terry C. McInturff Glory Custom I stupidly
got rid of, but about 500 times the guitar!

The new MEV is actually a ghost of that TCM Glory Custom as well... so while I love tons of colors, these ocean blue-ish colors seem
to hold a fond place in my heart. I played a LOT of great gigs with that TCM Glory Custom before I took about a 4 year break from
playing out starting in 2004.
