I loved my SE245 Standard, but the weight was just too much and ended up causing me back problems, so it had to go. I found this SE Standard 22 for sale second hand in a local store. I haven't seen one like it. The stock pickups didn't impress me at all, but the guitar felt really nice - lovely neck and nice, resonant tone.
So I put a set of Gibson Classic '57 pickups in there and I'm absolutely knocked over by how great it sounds. I'm able to get nice vintage type tones with ease, plus as much fatness as you could ever want. The stock pots are Aplpha pots and seem really decent quality, so I'm not tempted to change them out any time soon.
