NGD! SE Paul's Guitar

She is indeed a red beauty! I have to try one myself, keep drooling over them via y'alls NGD's. Congrats, you're gonna love her long time!

Arrived yesterday, allowed the customary acclimation (agonizing) time. I am super impressed with the quality of these SE's and they have vastly improved since I first tried one. Plays wonderfully and I am loving the TCI pickups and the mini toggles. Couldn't pass up the fire red and I love the wide grain on this one.

Everybody loves pictures, so without further ado, pics...…..

It's a great looking piece, what dealer was it?

Fit and finish look great, have you had a chance to check it out tonally? Your thoughts?? Oh and I thought the back was Mahogany I see some Birch in there. Looks great congrats.

Piggybacking on your post here a tad, but I bought myself this exact guitar a month or so ago and I absolutely love it. Looks the absolute business - far better than I expected for a guitar at this price point. Really well finished. Tonally it is lovely and so easy to play. Far better, in pretty much every respect, than my 2016 Gibson LP Standard, which feels clunky by comparison. My first PRS. An amazing guitar.

Thanks all for the replies and likes

Fit and finish is up there with a core model. There is nothing in the quality for this price that I could complain about.
Plays wonderful, loving the wide fat neck. The clarity of these pickups is incredible. It plays like a much more expensive guitar. Regarding the back, its all hog.

Looks Oak-kay to me, fir sure!;)

just log-ged back in and I think maybe you're going out on a limb here.

Piggyback away, I agree completely. Without trying to sound like a commercial, I was suprised at the quality, playability and just how solid this SE is. Very happy with this purchase and I would encourage anyone to go out, when we are able to again, and try one of these as you won't be disappointed.

Congrats! If it sounds half as good as it looks, then it must sound awesome. I've had my eye on the Paul's guitar, too. But still enjoying my SE Standard 22 Semi-Hollowbody that I gave myself for a Christmas present.
