So excited to finally get one of these after having my sights on them forever. Funny thing is, I wasn’t really in the market for one, but had favorited a couple on Reverb, and someone reached out to make an offer I couldn’t refuse! Reverb will do that to you; I think I may need to delete that app from all devices …

The guitar is in completely mint condition; it plays great and sounds great. The neck is a bit chunkier than I am used to, but not really bad at all. Channeling my inner Trey as I get to know it tonight! Pic of the new addition and latest family photo below.

Beautiful guitar. I love my HB. Now go bring out your inner Fluffhead!
Ha! Good suggestion! Did some YEM, Guyute and Limb x Limb run-throughs. And of course a 20-minute live Hood jam-along.

These dev have a Phishy vibe to them. Congrats she's a beauty!
For sure. Now, we just need a carved top, offset PRS Hollowbody ... my favorite design feature of the Languedocs. I would pay any amount of money for such a PRS.

SE's can be awesome guitars and amazing values, and looks like you're well aware of that. Looks great & huge congrats!
They sure can be an amazing value, and even more so on the used market. For how good this guitar is and its condition (mint), I feel like I stole it. While I like the visual upgrades of the SE HBII Piezo (wood binding, abalone birds), I am content that I didn't spend extra on one. I got this at practically an impulse buy price!

Really enjoying my new friend so far ... and I am counting down the minutes today until work is done and I can play it.

A play along with Hood never disappoints! 🎸

Absolutely!

The used 2015 SE 245 Soapbar I got last year was not only in brand new condition, it had an upgraded bridge pickup & Orange Drop caps along with a satin sanded neck. Guitar Center had no idea how good it was. The Korean SEs had awesome craftsmanship & really good QC. From what some of the forum members have said, it seems like the current Indonesian ones can have QC issues at times, but clearly they can make killer guitars too.
