Here is my new SE Hollowbody II purchased from Dave's. I am quite certain that this very guitar was displayed at the PRS booth at Winter NAMM 2020 and is seen in nearly every video from the show featuring this model. The playability is outstanding. The sound is bright and articulate. Fortunately the volume and tone knobs taper in a very effective manner. The bone nut far exceeds any nut I have ever seen on an SE.

I own an SCHBI and the tone on this is definitely brighter. Yet, you can dial in a much warmer tone rather easily. The ebony board, adjustable tailpiece, and the overall workmanship help seal the bang-for-the-buck value of this instrument. It does produce some feedback on high gain settings. At the same time, it is manageable and I love it. So far, it has been absolutely fun to play.

If they put a piezo bridge on these I'd have one already. Gorgeous guitar.

My standard leans a little. I won’t do anything because the high end is unbelievably clear.
