Hello all, I am new to the forum, I am new to PRS guitars. Today I am expecting my first PRS, the SE Custom 22 in Vintage Sunburst Korean. A lot of emotions, since on the website it looks fabulous, but I saw some pictures online of SE Custom 22, which are more between red and yellow - which I would not be so keen on. Anyway, I'll wait and see. And since it's freezing where I live, I might have to wait until tomorow to open the package

My guitar has arrived. But I was surprised that it is not actually Made in Korea as advertised on the website but in Indonesia. The problem is that it buzzes on the low E and A strings. I am not much of a technician and I am unsure now whether I should send it back. The guitar is gorgeous and I really like it but I do not know how to get rid of that buzz (it buzzes towards the neck on both strings), or if it can be fixed.

Does anyone have a piece of advice for me, please?

Prs makes their se electrics in Indonesia. A good setup will take care of the buzzing and maybe even a truss rod adjustment.

I watched some videos made by PRS for adjustments and it seems there was a neck bow, so I fiddled with the truss rod and then a bit on the action and there is no buzz now. Still, I should look for a professional maybe to set it up, but I am very happy now...

I will upload some pics as soon as I figure out how. And of course as soon I have some fun with the guitar.

Thank you for your kindness and answers!

Just a bit of advice from a dealer that has been shipping guitars for over 15 years. Let the guitar adjust to its new home for a few days. Guitars are wood and necks can move slightly especially when they are subject to drastic weather changes and if they spent a few days in transit. A lot of the time (especially with PRS guitars) the neck will settle back in place and the buzzing will go away by itself. If not it might just a need a minor adjustment but always allow your guitar a few days to get used to its new environment first
