So, I've never owned a single cutaway electric of any brand, and when I saw that the 245's were available in this finish (one of my favourites) I knew I just had to. In lieu of cruddy cameraphone pics, please enjoy the hi-res ones sweetwater sent after she passed their inspection-

Sweetwater picked a nice top for me.

As expected, the quality of the workmanship on this is stunning, and blows other import guitars in this price range out of the water IMHO. I particularly love how comfortable the neck joint is... playing the high frets is much easier than I expected.

All in all, very happy with my little post-xmas gift to myself.

The book match on that top is outstanding!
PRS' Indonesian plant seems to be really adept at getting this right! My SE CU 24 Laurel Burl Limited also has an outstanding match. I own a couple of other import guitars that aren't nearly as well done (including an Indonesian made Schecter with the seam completely off-center. Fortunately the Trans Black finish is so dark it's hard notice. )
