NGD Santa loves Walnut!

As a Luthier , Walnut is one of my favorite woods. One of my wood vendors loves me for it as I buy lots of Claro from him . Well I saw 2 of these while looking for something special . One was MUCH darker , and this one just glows. The seller was great and we agreed on a fair price . I've read a few members have had them . thanks for your insights on them. I have the Special semi Artist, with a maple neck (ILOVE !!) , and was looking for something a bit warmer to add to the collection . the 57/08's look to be a good choice with these woods. When I found out they only made 25 well, I just had to get it , I'm a sucker for small batch stuff.

They were made in 2013 . Hard to believe it's been a case queen for 9 years... and very happy about it . I have 2 PRS with the 58/15LT's and while they are wonderful and clean (7.5K) , a hot Alnico II will always have my heart . Can't wait to hear her through the DG30

Nice grab. When they hit the streets, I started saving photos of each one, as I was able to find them.

These are special guitars, in my opinion. And, as you said, quite uncommon.
