Lost my Dad back in Nov. Been looking for a worthy green guitar (his favorite color)
After some listening got the approval from the boss
Nice guitar.
Sort of broke down on the way home after buying.
I really miss my dad

My condolences. My first PRS, a 2001 McCarty, was bought with some life insurance money from one of my mom's policies. I was sure she would want me to do something fun with the money and both she and my father were the driving force behind me playing the guitar. Felt like a fitting tribute to her and I consider it the last gift my mother ever gave me.

Thanks all.
Both my parents encouraged my brother and myself on our music endeavors. My Dad helped me pick out my first Les Paul, a story in its own right lol. A lot of lawns mowed, a lot of golf bags carried, and 2 paper routes.

Really wanted a Custom 24 in this color. Seemed more fitting since my Dad grew up on original Rock&Roll and old Surf Rock. Top on this one is great for an S2, but this one just felt right. Very focused tone which barked when I wanted it to and sang a little sweeter if I didn't dig in.
