Gorgeous. Did the black rings come stock?

Good question! They didn’t, because they aren’t the correct rings for a stop tail. So, evidently the original owner swapped them out (for white or cream I assume). The originals did not come with it even though the remainder of the guitar is mint.

At any rate, I already had some real ebony ones for a stop tail, so I just changed them out. I like the look since they match the fret board. Now I just need a black switch tip.

Stunning guitar - love that color with those curls!

I find Korina/Limba to have more presence tonally. Last one I tried was a bit harsh, but it was a WL Korina body and neck with 59/09s. RW neck would probably go well with it.

I‘ve been looking for a 594 McCarty SC SH with a rosewood neck. And a nice copperhead maple top, an ebony board, and white korina back were all pluses on this wood library. This is my favorite PRS model.

And for those of you thinking, "That's a euphemism - that'd mean you were swimming laps in a toilet!", well frigging duh! I know that. Have you ever looked at a pool? That's a long way to swim - you'd get tired swimming laps in one of those!
