I was so smitten with the PS I picked up off the GC clearance list (#3422, shown below), I jumped on the chance when #4345 came available. I arranged a trade which included my 2008 DGT Goldtop w/old birds. These PS are just stunning guitars. One thing I've found, with few exceptions, photography just doesn't do justice to these guitars. You have to see them in person to appreciate the finish, build quality, and jewel-like nature of the assembly.

I'm a huge fan, but now its ruined me. Once I got a taste of these PS, I'm afraid its going to be hard to go back.

Regarding PS #4345: it was built here last summer (by another PRS enthusiast). A huge hat-tip to him, as this build is absolutely stellar. All the parts work flawlessly as a seemless whole. One piece top, perfect for the Dragon's Breath Glow stain, DGT with a 57/08 in the neck, beautiful white Agoya inlays, with white gold at the headstock. A wonderfully figured Cocobola fretboard, and the highlight: a gorgeous Honduran Rosewood neck. I've had several PRS rosewood necks in the past: this is a stunner. I love the blond wood and deep, straight grain all the way up the neck. Finish is divine, like touching newborn puppy fur. Wow, just wow. Of course, tone is fantastic as well. These DGTs are so versatile. I play mainly classic rock, and I can get everything from Zepplin, AC/DC, and my favorite - Rush, out of these easily.

Thanks again to everyone in the PRS world. Great community, and I'm grateful that trades of high-end gear go so smoothly here.

I pooped myself. I think Dragon's Breath Glow is my favorite color EVER. STUNNING. Congrats.

Nice score. I was at the vault that day that one was speced, I have #4343 and #4344 and I almost picked that top for myself.

Very nice! Congrats. That dragon's breath glow is the most beautiful one I've seen.

I'm pretty sure that that is "Tequila Sunrise Glow." Dragon's Breath has the lighter part extending all the way to the tail end of the guitar and the Glow stains concentrate on the middle like a burst.

I have been jonesing for either a glow or dragon' s breath since I first saw them in the PSF thread....

Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous.

The COA says "Dragon's Breath". Who knows? I thought "Dragon's Breath" (alone) meant the lighter color extended off the lower end, while "Dragon's Breath Glow" meant it was centered in a kind of tear-drop shape. Its possible this designation post-dates my May 2013 build date. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can enlighten me. Regardless, its looks great and plays even better. I'm a fan of the Hondruan Rosewood neck, so rich and smooth....
