I already hinted at it in my first topics, but today was the day. I got in the car and visited my "local" PRS dealer in Breda, The Netherlands.
While the luthier was working on some maintenance on my Gretsch G5220, I tried out this beauty and decided to bring her (?) home 😜.
Second electric, first PRS.

So you're a lucky neighbor of TFOA, right ?

I got my Fiore from them. Top notch service and even more so after sales.
I'd love to be nearer from them and visit their shop.

I used to have an SE Hollow Body II Piezo too. Enjoy it !

No, got this one from Dijkmans Muziek. TFOA is on the other side of the country from where I reside ;-). Of the 18 official PRS dealers in the Netherlands, Dijkman Muziek in Amsterdam and Dijkmans Muziek in Breda are closest to where I live and that sell from the SE line and up. Axe Palace in Amsterdam only does the higher end stuff.

Gotcha. I visited Dijkmans Muziek while in Amsterdam last year. TFOA was too far away.

Sorry for derailing your thread, enjoy your new guitar.

Gorgeous & congrats!

I didn't know about the wood binding on the fretboard. Between the binding and the quality of the birds it looks amazing!

WOW-- Congrats!!
Love all the figured binding and the abalone birds 😍

Back in the day I bought my first Les Paul (Epiphone) in Ziest... can't for the life of me remember the stores name. Lived in Soesterberg for a few years, and often look back on those days with deep fondness :)

Enjoy the new guitar!

To me, this is definitely the most attractive looking guitar in the SE line. Looks and feels like a much higher-end guitar :). Maybe not to those of you who own ten-tops and core models :p.

Not at all ! Those cores don't have the f-hole binding 😁, which look so much nicer. Beautiful guitar ! Enjoy !

And if you have the chance, try to visit TFOA. It's a beautiful shop and great people too.

Nice! The wood binding is just another touch on an impeccably made instrument. I used mine in an orchestra pit with no room instead of an electric and an acoustic. Go to the neck pickup, adjust the tone, and you’ve got a great jazz sound. They’re very versatile, and they have their own sound as well.

Congratulations! Those are some beautiful tiger stripes. Keep in mind that mixing in a little of the piezo into the mags goes a long way, and they're a bit hot coming out of a standard electric amp. If you've got an acoustic amp or an amp with an acoustic model built in, the piezo will sound much better, and can be played full volume.

Thanks! Judging by your avatar it looks like we have matching guitars now ;-). I already started looking into a possible signal chain before I went to the store to be able to treat the piezo signal separately (see this topic). The solution I will use is still unknown, but I am exploring options here, as I think that will really allow the greatest versatility with this guitar.

That looks pretty sweet. I do like this color more than the blue version. Congrats and enjoy.
Thanks! Indeed, same. I had a look at the blue one, but I find this one more classy and better matching the overall style of the guitar.
