First guitar day post... been a long time PRS fan... dreamt of one as a high school kid now I'm fortunate to have a stable of them. This one is my latest and greatest!
I actually received this guitar a couple months ago but had it sent back to get a repaint. In my initial order, I had a black limba back with a pretty cool figuring, and a figured mahogany neck.
I wanted a two tone look to the guitar and was told that the mahogany and limba would be toned to match... when I got the guitar, it wasn't the case. So after much deliberation... I figured let's paint the back and neck satin black... and behold, my favorite looking and sounding guitar I've ever owned.
Sometimes it's just cool to have a basic back and build... with the most insane quilt top you can find. It's easy to get carried away building a Private Stock because of the money spent, but wow am I happy with how it turned out. PRS Private Stocks... costs you a car but I'll bike my ass around the city for this thing!!!
Ebony headstock overlay and fretboard, mahogany neck, limba body, green ripple inlays, quilted maple top, black hardware, satin finish wrap around with Holcomb specs. Teal Mist is the finish and its the first of its kind.
Blown away. My favorite axe by a long shot. Only gripes I have is after the repaint, the setup wasn't as good as it initially was when I first received it... gonna have a tech fix that (weird for PRS because usually the setup is immaculate) but wow. Just wow.
Magic!!!
