NGD PRS 08' CU22 Ten Top Tortoise Shell

Got this 08' PRS CU22 ten top in tortoise shell on a blind buy. This is my second PRS, first one was an S2 594 singlecut from my avatar which i enjoyed a lot for a year after swapping pickups (Duncan JB). Has a beautiful maple top, pattern regular neck, Dragon II pickups, rotary switch, locking tuners, etc. Very lightweight too.

This is goin to be my Drop C# guitar to play some AiC, King X, Limp Bizkit tunes with a PRS Archon 25. Im planning to swap the knobs for lampshades and the pickup rings for a more creamy one.

Any recommended string gauge for those tunings? I was thinkin about .010/.048 for drop D and .011/.048 for drop C#. Dont like thick strings. They get muddy with overdrive.

Swapped the speed knobs for Lampshades.

They dont pop out like the gold speeds but i like em more. Dont distract you from that beautiful 10 top.
