Finally!

I waited for this one for a long time. My birthday private stock #7485 (july 4th, 1985) came up and I asked PRS to hold the number for me. This was probably a couple of years ago haha...but every time I picked the woods for it I ended up giving them to a customer instead. So, finally I nailed down a set and told them that this is the one...don't let me change it etc. etc.

This is my first and only 594 so I wanted to go decently traditional with the general specs of the instrument. That being said...I asked them to do a bright Subzero Glow to match with the inlay material and it came out perfect.

The inlay on the heel is the hobo code symbol for a safe camp. Aside from it being connected to one of my all time favorite bands...it means family to me.

There is an excessive amount of bellyaching and criticizing on forums and in the social media world about the decisions guitar companies including PRS make these days. Its important to know and see that PRS is the best in the business with an owner and employees that truly care about making the best instruments out there whether you like the decisions made or not. 8 years in business...as a dealer and a fan...I have 0 complaints about our fine friends in Maryland, they stand behind everything they have ever done and they have an owner that travels the world to talk to his fans and shake as many hands as he can. My best guess, there will never be another quite like them.

ENJOY!

Fantastic Brian.
Every choice on that thing is perfect.
Well earned...enjoy!

That is absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations Brian! Maybe I should go with a subzero glow smoked burst next...:)

Since my birthday is 7/5, (as was my moms) albeit 18 years earlier, I give two very enthusiastic thumbs up on this. You hit the nail on the head about PRS. And, even though I've only bought one WL from you, so far, we could say the same about you. There are dealers, and then there's Brian's! Three cheers! .....hope that gets me a discount on a soon to be spec'd WL run! :D

You're awesome. You deserve it, Brian, and thank you as well for everything that you do. You are as fine and upstanding as the company you describe. (And AMAZING guitar as well, by the way. Congratulations!)

Kevin

Very, very sweet indeed! Actually, it looks amazing, not just sweet!

So cool.

DUDE!!!! That is super sweet! Congrats on the PS, 8 years as best dealer, and totally agree with your sentiments about Mr PRS and his company!

So...you'll have that for me at the shop Thursday for my lesson?:p

That’s just way past gorgeous. I don’t know if I’d be able to stop looking at it long enough to play it - it would probably serve as art at least as much as an actual musical instrument in my house. But I’m sure given the time and energy you put into that beauty, you’ll play the hell out of it and when you’re old it’ll be beat up and naturally relic’d and will still be beautiful, but in the way that old guitars earn.

Congratulations!
