NGD - Paul's in Charcoal (Updated Pics)

Think I figured out the pictures!



Picked up this beauty today...Paul's Guitar in Charcoal, Brazilian rosewood board, nicely figured back too.

Looks like a very nice top.

(special thank you to GC Ron for shooting me some pics of this when it came in...I couldn't wait to get out of work and go check it out, then fell in love with it when I played it. Was totally looking at a couple differnet models but took this one home.)

Pics aren't showing up for me, but I recently saw one in charcoal at my local GC, and thought it was gorgeous!

I didn't have time to give it a play, so I'm going to go back and do that.

It's a beautiful guitar - the back has nice figuring too.

I really like the Charcoal on the flame without the burst edges.

Great tones are easy to conjure out of it too...I was a bit apprehensive about the pickups, but they are great.

Yeah, I didn't think Charcoal was an available color in the Paul's Guitar, but...here it is.

2012 P24 Limited in Vintage Smokeburst
I'm amazed at how good the "acoustic" sounds are from this, but what is really special is blending the piezo and magnetics together...we played "Fly By Night" the other night at band practice with about 70% magnetic and 30% piezo and we were all blown away!

"Modded" 2011 Stripped 58 in Sunset Burst - Coil Tap push/pulls on both Tone Controls
This one was great before, but after the coil-tap mod it is fantastic!

"Modded" 2000 Swamp Ash Special in Whitewash - DiMarzio 36th Anniversary PAF humbuckers & DiMarzio True Velvet Single Coil; push/pull pot on Volume for coil tapping both humbuckers, push/pull pot on Tone for on/off of Single Coil in any toggle position; adjustable wrap-around bridge. I'm going to order clear PRS knobs for this one sooner or later.

The Paul's is a bad ass guitar if I say so myself. There's a reason why it sold in one day.

The Stripper is another great one too although I haven't heard it with the coil taps yet.
