NGD or NOGD!!

New “Old” Guitar Day!! Must be in a guitar midlife crisis, but I’ve been yearning to own a Sunburst Paul Reed Smith but really wanted to buy an older one, preferably a player Signature Series and finally found the right one for the right price that I was willing to pay. It did not have a matching vintage PRS speed knob for the 5-way selector switch, but I have a spare new style Amber bell type which I put that on for now. Question, does anyone know where to buy the older vintage style ones? Allpart replacements and others are not deep enough and the knob stands higher up on the shaft. Are the SE types like the older speed knobs PRS used to use?

Anyway I’m very excited and enjoying it immensely....... got really sore fingers! Some photos

I started with an Axe FX ultra used to use that with a liquid foot programmable pedal board, I love the AX8 It’s like an ultra with a built-in pedalboard, it keeps things simple, play through a Matrix Elements amplified cabinet. Read a bit about new FX III, Looks complicated LOL

Thanks for reply, I also had a POD HD 500X. Enjoyed it. I’ve been considering getting a Helix and do a side by side comparison with AX8. Helix definitely has better pedal board options with built in expression pedal.
