I've been after a SAS for a while. Heck I've wanted a swamp ash guitar for even longer. The blue ones always get me going, but when I stumbled on this '97 sunburst locally I had to pounce.
Right now I have it set up with Porter pickups, an Alnico H90 (humbucker p90) in the neck and WRH (wide range humbucker) in the bridge. It took me more time than I'd like to admit to get the Vintage rail and them dialed in together but holy smokes this thing rips and cleans up nicely as well. A very unique and versatile sound. I dig it.
I tried to capture the grain in the body and flame on the neck but as many of you know that can be quite difficult to do. Some of the better pics represent it part of the way there but in person she's epic!
