No, I live in Indiana.
Heal well , great choice , a classic beauty . McCarty's are magic I have 4 variants and still want more .. .

May I suggest a rosewood neck Mc Soapy .. they are sheer bliss .. there's a sweet red out there for reasonable ..

That's a sleek looking guitar. I've tried a few P-90 equipped guitars and never got into them. Maybe I should give it another shot.
Congrats! Old school McCartys are the best, especially the ones that are returned to us:

That's crazy you posted on here. I read your post a few days ago on the TGP forum before I started this thread. Rock on🤘
Oof....sorry to hear about your health issues. Glad you're on the mend.

That's a great looking McCarty. I love that top. It's got some great character.
Thank you, I appreciate it. I'm just enjoying this second I got.
Congrats! That's definitely old school.

Things have sure changed from 2003 when lots of Cores came with .009s. Glad the 9.5s are going well. It's surprising how much difference that .0005 makes. In my SC Cores, I tried 9.5 but went back to 10's which are their sweet spots.
You ain't lying about the .0005 difference. I originally installed 9.5-46's on her, then went over to 10's. The 10's didn't even make it a full day before I put a set of 9.5's back on her. Both my McCarty & Whale Blue Singlecut feel and play better with 9.5's on them. I don't know why, but they just do.
Glad you are ok…. After going through near death, you deserve a nice guitar! (
(Don’t ask me how I know this….)
Thank you, I appreciate that. This is kind of a perfect example of tomorrow is not promised.
The best part of the story is you're still around to write it. The second best part is she came back to you.

Live long and prosper!
That is the best part...The crazy part about my near death experience, is that I never even knew I had a tear in my aorta, and I never saw it coming. It just happened. What's even crazier is that I don't remember it...I literally went to bed the night before and two to three days later, I'm waking up in the cardiovascular critical care unit with lines coming out of me, and I'm restrained to the bed with mittens on. I'm about to turn 47 next month, and this whole thing has been a real eye opener for me and my siblings because we found out that this is a hereditary issue.
