So I bought a .594, second hand. Very well cared for. All the case candy was there. It completely lives up to my expectations. Expectations formed from reading here, scouring YouTube, other web based research & a visit to a localish guitar store.

I didn't really think I was going to buy one as I didn't like the solid opaque colors used on the backs. I mean my S2 Standard 24 & Standard McCarty are solid colors, but I didn't pay too much for them. I was pleasantly surprised that you can see through the finish on the back of this guitar.

I also don't care for the switch on the upper horn. I'd rather it be ahead of the other controls, like a Les Paul Jr, or SG (which I think the McCarty is more like), or behind the controls like my Standard McCarty.

So why'd I buy it?

Well, it's a damm fine guitar & I couldn't convince myself I didn't need it.

I can hear & feel notes resonate throughout the body.

But it generally takes 3 to 5 days for a guitar to adjust to the climate/humidity around here, so I'll reserve judgement until then
