Hmmm! I never thought of it until you mentioned it. Maybe the Singlecuts came with the Klusons and the DC’s with phase II’s? I’ll need to run the Modcat and see what comes up... Inquiring minds want to know

The headstock overlay was an Artist package feature IIRC. McCartys (including Singlecuts) got the Kluson tuners, other models had the Phase IIs.
