2013 NF3 in Natural finish. My first PRS.

OK, I've actually had this guitar for a couple weeks, but the important thing is the pics:

Hope you enjoyed! It is a sweet player.

how do you like it?

Since it is my first PRS, I can't really compare well to any other PRS guitars. My other guitars are Fender strats and in comparison, the range of tones is amazing. In my original post I said it played sweet. Well, that is really how I would describe it--smooth and warm when you want it to be but raucous and quacking when you want it to. I was hoping for a slightly different tone than I can get with my single coil guitars and the NF3 definitely provides that. The narrowfields really are versatile.

The neck is fantastic--my hand just glides along, so smoothly. While the scale length is only slightly shorter than the strats, it plays more compactly, which I appreciate. I'm not a big guy and I really like the control I feel over this guitar.

I'm still learning all it can do in conjunction with my Fender Super Champ X2. So far so good!

Gotta say, though, that now I have my feet inside the PRS door and I am eyeing some of the other models. I've never been a big fan of the brightly colored flamed maple tops but there's a lot of eye candy in the PRS lineup that is more subdued and I'm sure before long I'll be posting another NGD thread. Until then, I'll be rockin' the NF3 with much pleasure.

Fantastic! I'm in the same boat as you, and am enjoying my first PRS guitar (also an NF3). I love the playability and versatility. Great choice!

Having departed from Stratocaster land, I don't think you can top that choice. You are an NF3 player now! :top:
