Been away from the forum for a while - although the Private Stock Friday would usually grab me back for a browse every now and then! - whilst I languished in 'non-PRS ownership land' for a while. Played a lot of PRSi and nailed down what I wanted but it was looking like I'd need to save up for a PS guitar to get exactly what I wanted.
Then a Paul's Guitar in my desired Copper Flame finish popped up: second hand AND I had a 10% coupon from the retailer ... had to be done!
Gorgeous looking, playing and sounding guitar and nails both humbucker and single-coil tones: although, weirdly - as a very much humbucker or P90 guy over the years - I'm having soooooo much fun with the single-coils! My old 408 was 90% there but this gets the last two things right (for me!): stoptail bridge and narrower bridge pickup.
So, don't get me wrong, I still WANT a PS but now I don't NEED one.
Now, obviously you've all seen one before but here goes:
