It is the pattern regular. It is comfortable. For me anyways.

Thanks for all the compliments. They (it) play even better than it looks. I am sure y'all know that already though.

To add a little background on this guitar neck, it came in as a handsigned guitar , but the headstock had the decal instead. After some thought, it was sent back to the factory. I am guessing the PTC? The decal was removed, Prince Paul Reed Smith signed in black and the neck was completey refinished and returned to the store. The neck felt no different and was obviously great. What is pretty cool, is that all the handsigned I have seen have all been in gold. I may have one of only a few, if not the only one signed in black. No big deal if it is not, but how cool of it, if it is. It aint going nowhere, I worked to hard and waited to long to be able to get one. On a side note, my ME Quatro in faded blue jean is scheduled to arrive in early March. I like the 59-09's, but am really looking forward to those 53-10's.

Again Thank you everyone for all the compliments. I wanted to give a quick follow-up report. I play 60, 70's acousitc stuff, blues, and classic rock. Use the 24 for the latter obviously. I never spent anytime on a PRS except for the few minutes neccesary to know that I knew I wanted to get one someday. I play thru either a 73 Fender Twin, or H&K Tubemeister 18 Head and Cab. The 59-09s are just right since I dont like using a lot of overdrive if any. So, for me I get that just right amount of bite out of these 59's. I am so looking forward to working out those 53-10's. I think they may be the sweetest thing ever. This 24 feels right in everyway and I just felt right at home with the trem. The quality and comfort of playing this musical instrument is crazy excellent. I am only telling y'all what y'all already know anyway so I wont ramble on how great it sounds.

Came right back not(not even two minutes) the worker was gone and some jack was clearly getting ready to walk out with my PRS. Shouted and he ran out the door with nothing thank goodness.

I love this color. To me, this green and the blue crab blue are great colors.

Im afraid I would get out of control angry if somebody tried walking out with my guitar. I wont tolerate a thief. PERIOD!!!
