Hey folks. I joined this Forum some months ago as I was desperate to get my hands on a Paul Reid Smith guitar. I've sat and read thread after thread here, asked questions and received some great responses. I've learned a lot about these guitars and now I finally have one.
I'm 40 this year and was hoping for a great guitar to celebrate it with. PRS guitars are not cheap and coming up with the cash for one was going to be a difficult task. It was looking like a used one was the way to go as my budget didn't stretch far enough. Anyway, searching around on Thursday night I came across this beauty, it looked perfect, everything I wanted in a PRS, but my birthday isn't until November and I needed to raise more cash. My wife clearly saw how much I loved this guitar and took the opportunity to announce that she had saved up a considerable sum of money which she was going to present to me on my birthday. Long story short, she made it possible for me to purchase a guitar which is beyond my wildest dreams. Here's a few pics, they aren't great but the best my iphone could do in pretty poor light! Sorry if the pics are too big, I didn't know how to make them smaller
It's a Custom 22 Wood Library, number 12 in a run of 12 guitars. I've played it for an hour or two and cannot put into words how impressed I am with the feel, how easy it plays, how stable the trem is but most of all how gorgeous the 57/08 pickups are.
Thanks for reading!
