Road worn, naturally relic'd, workhorse. Similar kind of situation my first PRS was in. That being said, this one's got a couple of firsts for me. First Stop Tail guitar, First Custom model, and first Red PRS. Second Set neck PRS too. It plays amazing what can I say. Note the new Lampshades and Ivory pickup rings. I got a new Core PRS nut to be installed sooner or later. McCarty 58 Wiring too. Duncan 59's. Lovely, Lovely, Lovely, Lovely, Lovely, Lovely, Lovely, Lovely, Lovely...

... and for you who love those Guitar Porn-esque shots...

Oooh mama, that's what I'm talking about.

I eventually hope to get one just like that -- beautiful yet road worn -- that I can use as a workhorse and try a dozen different pickups.

Congrats!

Lots of love and mojo in that one...beautiful! Did she have the original Dragons in her when you got her?

I actually picked her up without any pickups and some disgustingly aged staggered Les Paul pickup rings last week for a STEAL. I know I can't elaborate on that though. This one loves to vibrate in your lap. Its obvious why this one was played so much. That bone nut is irking me though. I'm so used to the PRS nut material that when I heard that binding noise of the string against the nut I cringed. Maybe It's not cut right, but it won't hurt to put a Maryland part on it though.
