NGD: McCarty Singlecut in McCarty Glow - Private Stock #4826!!

McCarty Singlecut in McCarty Glow, arrived today, was flown across the Atlantic all the way from Max Guitar Store in the Netherlands!

It's a real beauty. The "Glow" is really great on this one. It really does sort of glow!

The finish looks even better that I expected! I like that it is not too dark.

Haven't played it a ton yet, on first report it sounds pretty much like my other one (which means it sounds AMAZING!).

Also a NAD here with the Friedman SS100, so an exciting day here in the Windy City!

It seems as if Europe is receiving many of the more atypical finishes for this series of guitars. I just ordered a dark cherry sunburst version from the UK. Similar to yours but with a more reddish periphery.

How long for delivery from the Netherlands? Any issues with customs?

Agree that Europe got most of the more unique colors, McCarty Glow, Tiger Eye Glow and Dark Cherry Sunburst. Most in the US have been the Faded McCarty Burst.

I ordered it Saturday of last week and received it today.

Zero issues with customs, the guitar showed up on a Brown truck, there wasn't any customs paperwork to be signed or anything.

Congrats on your Dark Cherry Sunburst one, can't wait to see it here! That is also a cool finish for the vibe of this guitar.

After seeing pics of this guitar, I would bet Alan is VERY happy in selecting this finish for his PS in the oven!!

The top he selected is actually pretty similar to this one.
