I am in love with my korina McCarty, so I knew that I wanted to try a 594. The korina has a Brazilian rosewood fretboard. I thought that might be contributing to it’s magic, so that was a requirement for my 594.

These birds are works of art. Mother of pearl with gold mother of pearl outlines.

Wow! That is a stunning guitar, congrats - you're on a roll, no? May you love it long time.

Thank you!

Yes, I’m on a bit of a roll. I sold five other guitars and bought four PRS. Then, this one came along and I charged it. That’s why I don’t want to chat about it with my wife. The others were paid with cash, but this one was not.

The new ones are the Raspberry Singlecut, the two Santanas, and the korina McCarty. I already had the Tremonti and the SC245. My wife’s only comment was that now I have too many purple guitars. The Raspberry looks purplish and the Bruise Burst Singlecut has raspberry in the center and purple at the edges.

Thank you!

I recently remodeled this room. Notice how flat wall paint makes the guitars look wet?

Also, there’s a “Where’s Waldo” moment in one of my photos for you air-cooled VW fans.

Awesome collection. No such thing as too much purple.

You can never have too many purple guitars.

Thank you!

Thank you very much, guys!

There is so much love for my korina. It’s a 2007 that wasn’t sold until 2013, I believe because of the Brazilian Rosewood fretboard. It has Custom Built For USA Only on the headstock. The body and neck are korina and the neck is flamed. It’s really beautiful.

Since it’s an ‘07, it must have McCarty pickups. They sound so great. I usually dislike most neck pickups. I’m very particular about what I want to hear in the neck. This neck pickup is fantastic. It has that womanly moan tone going on but it’s not wooly sounding or muddy.
