NGD - McCarty 594 Core Purple Mist

Just picked this up to go with my DGT core and WL 594 Semi-hollow. Really liking the Vintage Pattern neck on this. Not at all liking the cheap vintage non-locking plastic tuners though. Can’t figure out how to tighten or loosen the the tuners yet. Otherwise its a high quality and great playing guitar.

Does anyone know of a way to tighten or loosen these vintage non-locking tuners? Ie the G tuner is hard to turn and the D tuner is almost too easy.

Good question, I'd ask PRS customer support.

On some, but not all, tuners tightening or loosening the button screw will help. Haven’t tried that on any 594s of mine, though… tuners have all been fine. John Mann makes locking direct replacements for those tuners, if interested.
