NGD: Korina McCarty Soapbar in My Favorite PRS Color

I've had a couple of Korina McCartys but this one goes right to the top of the list. These are seriously great guitars. Now all I need to decide is if I want to put on black soapbar covers & a switch tip. No chance for good pics but here's at least one. The Platinum Metallic looks way better in person. If you're reading this, you probably need one.

But for the record, as usual I agree with Sergio. Cream.

Black and silver is awesome :rock: but for whatever reason, black covers on P90s never blew my skirt up. What strikes me odd is if you asked double cream vs. double black humbuckers, I'd say black with zero hesitation.

If you had ebony tuning knobs along with the black TRC, I would say black pickup covers...I think those vintage tuners and the cream pick up cover look great together. Hope you are having fun rocking out on that bad boy!

Thanks. I'm having a blast with it so far but I'm not at all surprised. When the first run of these came out some years back, I got a pair of them finished in Vintage Cherry. When the enablers at Dave's let me know that a whole bunch were going to be available in various colors, I agreed to the one pictured. That was a few months ago and it came in last week. I'm guessing that I'll end up with 2nd one before it's all done

Very nice. When I bought my black CU22 in 2006 it was either that or a platinum metallic standard 22 as the final two contenders. I went with the brighter sounding of the two, but wish I could have bought both. I have a 2nd gen Santana SE in that color instead.
