1. Like another user noted in my other thread, the SA is a little more warmed up/prominent in the mids. My description is, this one is like having my 408 Private Stock Experience PRS 2012 with Strat position tones added for days. If ever there was a Swiss Army Knife that is good at most everything it does, then this is it for me at least!!! Not like I'll say goodbye to my Swamp Ash Artis WL 509 or anything... They're different, and the MEV has TONS more than 9 tones...Aside from the glorious appearance of this particular guitar, can you describe the sonic difference between mahogany and swamp ash?
Also, why do we suppose the middle layer of the scoop has been emblackened, rather than left natural?
Also also too, why does the Modern Eagle not appear on the website or in price lists? Is it secret?
